35.To Be My Last

If my lotus blossom
Turned frail and languid
Like a dying baleful spirit
Would the heart of radiance
Brace my decline?

If my sacred starlight
Waned its gaze
Upon the holiest of holy
Would the guiding soul
Keep me in its heart?

If my orb of shimmer and shine
Lost its glinting luster
Like an eclipsed sun of purity
Would I live on
In this darkening day
Or leave the temple of tribulation
Forever remaining astray?
